Permanent Red (For Alkaline Phosphatase) a chromogen for immunohistochemical staining and immunoblotting is designed for generating staining with the alkaline phosphatase (AP) enzyme of human primary antibodies on human tissues without background staining. Permanent Red (AP) produces an intense red precipitate that may be permanently mounted. ScyTek's is a ready to use system that results in excellent sensitivity and high specificity using a simple protocol. In addition, as the protocol uses a polymer-based, biotin-free system, it does not require blocking of endogenous biotin Reagent may be mixed for up to 2 hours prior to application making it suitable for automated staining. Summary Protocol: Combine Permanent Red Concentrate with Permanent Red Buffer. Combined mixture may be used for up to two hours.
