NMR Solvents
Commonly used NMR solvents include Deuterated Chloroform (CDCl3), an NMR solvent with excellent solvating properties, broad chemical compatibility, and well-resolved NMR signals, Deuterated Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO-d6), a polar, aprotic solvent commonly used for NMR spectroscopy of polar and nonpolar compounds, Deuterated Methanol (CD3OD) for experiments involving compounds soluble in polar solvents, Deuterated Acetone (CD3COCD3), or acetone-d6, for NMR experiments requiring compounds soluble in acetone, and Deuterated Water (D2O), when water suppression is necessary.
