L-Ornithine hydrochloride is composed of two chemical compounds—L-Ornithine and Hydrochloric acid. It is an amino acid that is produced from the splitting off of urea from arginine. It acts as a precursor of citrulline and arginine and allows for the disposal of excess nitrogen. In addition, L-Ornithine can also be seen in health supplements which are used to support athletic performance, support liver functioning, healthy wound recovery, and stress management. 

L-Ornithine Hydrochloride is an amino acid that is part of the urea cycle. It allows for the disposal of excess nitrogen.
