MedSchenker Dry Specimen Smart Collection System is an FDA-listed collection and transport system that provides organism viability for up to 72 hrs at room temperature. The disposable culture tube can hold up to 10ml, is 95 kPa IATA packaging instruction 650 compliant and is made of 100% polypropylene making it virtually shatterproof. It also comes with our CQ-LockTM screw cap which prevents leaks even in pneumatic tubes. Our 153mm CavSwab Nasopharyngeal flocked swab with a 101.3mm breakpoint and AlliumTM flock technology has been engineered with a precision scalloped surface to produce ‘cava’. This design creates a greater surface area to absorb and help collect larger amounts of the specimen. Allium flock technology refers to the unique ability of our nylon fibers, which are attached with medical grade non-toxic water-based glue, to adapt to the direction the swab is being pushed/pulled, resulting in less friction and an overall more pleasant experience for both the medical professional and the patient.
