Cefepime dihydrochloride is a fourth-generation cephalosporin that acts as an antibacterial agent and is commonly used in the treatment of infections pertaining to the urinary tract, respiratory tract, abdomen, and skin. It is effective in fighting against pseudomonas aeruginosa and is also used in the empiric treatment of febrile neutropenia.
