Description
Replacement for WF-FS70-KIT, now with 10 holes. This 10-Port Carboy Cap, 70mm (Rieke FS-70 NPS, 8TPI), Complete Kit with (1) 1/2" plug, (3) 1/4" plugs and (6) 1/4-28 Plugs. Fits the 70mm opening on Hedwin® brand drums and carboys, and similar products. Cap thread design is the 70mm threaded Rieke 8TPI (8 threads per inch.) Uses 1/4-28 UNF threaded adapters (for 1/16" OD tubing, order part# WF-AQ-1-16. For 1/8" OD tubing, order part# WF-AQ-1-8), as well as 1/4" NPT threaded adapters. Features a single 1/2" NPT port for use with carbon filter WF-CF-100KIT (not included.)

Choose adapters based on your tubing size. A set of plugs in included to maintain a closed system when holes are not in use.
When using a grounded carboy or Justrite safety container is not economical or practical, it may be useful to dispose of solvent wastes into a standard HPLC laboratory bottle. For vapor control, attach an EF-100 vapor filter with filter adapter to one port when connecting solvent wastes. Most of our manifolds may also be used to supply solvent to a system, but you should use evaporation control valves to handle the air inlet or pressure relief when used for solvent delivery to avoid implosion or explosion.
For labs which do not need to use groundable safety containers, we offer these closed system port caps to adapt to standard drum and pail closures, as well as Nalgene® 83B, 53B, and 100-415 carboys.
